If you are entitled to reimbursement for medicinal oxygen abroad under E111/E112 in Spain, please read the following.
Even though reimbursement requests are handled by your home supplier, insurer or emergency centre, sometimes clients can only have oxygen delivered to their holiday destination after visiting a local doctor.
This may mean that you will need to wait several days before receiving your oxygen.
Oxygen Worldwide can bridge this gap.
If this applies to you, please inform us of your holiday plans and the details regarding your oxygen need via 'Enquiries' and tick the E111/E112 box.
After receipt of your enquiry Oxygen Worldwide will inform you of the costs involved. Costs depend on travel destination, type of oxygen and holiday duration and consist of handling costs and a deposit.
Once you have approved our quote, the total amount due needs to be transferred to Oxygen Worldwide before you leave for Spain.
After your doctor’s visit in Spain, please fax the doctor’s proof of approval for the oxygen delivery to Oxygen Worldwide. As from the date of this approval, Oxygen Worldwide will pass on the delivery and invoice handling to the local oxygen supplier. You will keep the equipment you have been using.
At this point Oxygen Worldwide will refund the deposit minus the fee for the number of days not reimbursed, if any.
If you fly to Spain and want to have oxygen from the moment you arrive (at the airplane door!), tick the Airport Service box on the request form ('Enquiries').
